Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actress best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. She is also a dancer and is a model. As a Montreal born native, she grew in Texas and has always been attracted to dancing. Since her early years she's been trained in a variety of styles. Her first participation in beauty contests when she was the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when in 2008, she appeared as a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. Toubia made her acting debut in 2010as a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. In 2015, she starred in her debut film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. In the film, for her role as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
